Product Description
A rare 2004 Yves Saint Laurent runway pair, featuring exquisite rose embroidery and an elegant open-toe mule silhouette.
Crafted in a delicate champagne-pink satin, the shoes are distinguished by their wide embroidered vamp, featuring hand-finished rose and botanical motifs in soft pink and muted green tones. The floral embroidery brings a romantic, almost couture-like quality to the otherwise clean and sculptural silhouette.
The open-toe construction is paired with a refined slim heel and softly squared toe, creating an elegant elongated shape. The contrast between the luminous satin upper, intricate rose embroidery and deep burgundy leather insoles gives the pair a distinctly luxurious early-2000s YSL character.
Dating from 2004 and originally presented as a runway/show style, this is an especially interesting example of Yves Saint Laurent’s approach to combining refined evening footwear with elaborate textile craftsmanship. The embroidered rose motif is the defining feature of the design, giving the pair a strong archival identity.
The shoes remain in nearly new condition, with minimal signs of wear. The satin, embroidery and interior are exceptionally well preserved for a vintage pair.
A rare runway-era YSL piece and an exceptional find for collectors of early-2000s Yves Saint Laurent footwear, particularly those drawn to romantic floral embroidery and archival show pieces.
