NOVAWARE is a curated fashion platform dedicated to rare archive fashion, pre-owned designer pieces and collectible contemporary design.
We are here for people who look beyond trends — collectors, fashion enthusiasts, stylists, designers and anyone who appreciates the history, craftsmanship and individuality behind exceptional pieces.
Rather than asking customers to search through an overwhelming amount of second-hand fashion, NOVAWARE exists to make that search more focused.
We carefully select pieces through our own aesthetic perspective, product knowledge and understanding of archive fashion, with an emphasis on rarity, design significance, condition and collectibility.
Our goal is simple: to help you discover pieces that are difficult to find, meaningful to own and genuinely worth keeping.
FROM LONDON, WITH A GLOBAL REACH
NOVAWARE was originally established through an offline retail presence in East London’s Brick Lane, before evolving into an online platform so that we could reach collectors and fashion enthusiasts beyond London and offer a wider selection of archive pieces internationally.
NOVAWARE is a UK company. Our inventory is managed through different sourcing and fulfilment locations, and for security reasons, a significant portion of our higher-value archive inventory is currently held in Asia.
For international orders from our Asian inventory, shipments are routed through Hong Kong before continuing to their final destination.
This structure allows us to protect high-value inventory while maintaining an efficient international fulfilment process.

Archive fashion can be difficult to navigate.
Important pieces may exist in very limited numbers, appear only occasionally on the secondary market, or disappear from circulation entirely.
Our role is not simply to list as many products as possible.
We look for pieces with something distinctive about them — an unusual design, an important period, exceptional craftsmanship, a rare print or material, a strong connection to a designer’s body of work, or simply something we believe deserves to be preserved.
Every piece is considered individually before being accepted onto NOVAWARE.
We curate with collectors and long-term ownership in mind rather than short-term trends.
AUTHENTICITY & QUALITY
Authenticity Comes First.
Authenticity is one of the foundations of NOVAWARE.
Every piece accepted onto our platform undergoes an authentication and condition review before listing.
Depending on the brand, category and nature of the piece, additional third-party authentication may be obtained through established authentication institutions and services in China, including China Certification & Inspection Group (CCIC), Shenzhen Zhongshu Testing Co., Ltd. (COIC), and Dewu’s authentication service.
Our assessment does not rely on a single element such as a label, serial number or logo.
Where applicable, pieces are examined through their:
- Materials and fabric
- Construction and craftsmanship
- Stitching and finishing
- Prints, patterns and hardware
- Brand-specific details
- Period-specific characteristics
- Labels and internal markings
- Overall condition and signs of previous ownership
Only pieces that meet our authentication and quality standards are accepted for sale.
We do not knowingly list counterfeit products. Authenticity is treated as a fundamental responsibility, not an optional feature.
TRANSPARENT CONDITION
What You See Is What You Receive.
Archive and pre-owned fashion naturally carries history.
A piece may show signs of previous ownership, age, storage or wear. These characteristics are part of what makes archive fashion unique — but they should never be hidden from the person buying it.
We therefore make every effort to describe each item’s condition as accurately and transparently as possible.
Product descriptions may include information regarding:
- Visible wear
- Fabric ageing
- Minor marks or imperfections
- Hardware condition
- Alterations
- Missing or removed labels
- Storage-related characteristics
- Previous repairs
- Other details relevant to the individual piece
We do not intentionally conceal imperfections in order to make a product appear better than it is.
Our product photography is based on the actual item being offered, allowing customers to review the piece as it exists today.
We encourage every customer to carefully review the photographs, measurements, condition description and all product details before purchasing.
BEFORE YOUR ORDER SHIPS
A Final Review
Our responsibility does not end when an item is listed.
Before dispatch, orders undergo a final preparation and inspection process. We review the item’s condition, key details and order information before carefully packaging it for international shipment.
This additional step helps us ensure that the item being shipped corresponds with the product listing and that the order is prepared accurately.
Orders are generally prepared and dispatched within 2–5 business days following successful order verification.
INTERNATIONAL FULFILMENT
Carefully Selected. Securely Delivered.
Because many of our archive pieces are high-value and sometimes irreplaceable, security is an important part of how we manage our inventory and fulfilment.
For international shipments, we use SF Express international services and selected international routes based on efficiency, reliability and our experience with high-value fashion shipments.
Our international fulfilment process has been developed through repeated shipments to customers across the UK, Europe, the United States and other international destinations.
We select routes that balance transit time, security and reliable delivery, rather than simply choosing the cheapest available shipping option.
Typical delivery estimates after dispatch are:
- Asia: approximately 3–5 business days
- United Kingdom: approximately 5–8 business days
- Europe: approximately 5–8 business days
- North America: approximately 5–8 business days
- Australia & New Zealand: approximately 6–10 business days
Tracking information is provided once an order has been dispatched.
Please note that delivery times are estimates and may be affected by customs clearance, weather conditions, carrier delays or other circumstances beyond our control.
CUSTOMS & IMPORT DUTIES
International orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes or local handling fees depending on the destination country.
These charges are determined by the relevant customs authorities and are generally the responsibility of the recipient unless otherwise stated.
Hong Kong may be used as a transit or export point for selected international shipments. As a free port, Hong Kong generally does not impose a general tariff on imported goods, but this does not remove import duties or taxes that may apply when the shipment enters its final destination country.
Customers are encouraged to review their local import regulations before placing an international order.
ORDER VERIFICATION

Because we work with high-value archive and designer pieces, certain orders may require additional verification before dispatch.
This may include confirmation of:

- Shipping information
- Product details
- Measurements
- Condition description
- Shipping and customs information
- Return & Final Sale policy
This process exists to help reduce payment fraud, unauthorised transactions, chargebacks and shipping disputes, while ensuring that each order is processed accurately.
