    Product Description:

An exceptionally rare runway-era design from Prada Fall Winter 1998 — these sculptural patent leather mule heels capture one of the most experimental and visually intelligent periods in late-1990s fashion.

Constructed in glossy patent leather, the pair combines a saturated mustard yellow upper with Prada’s unmistakable deep cherry-red architectural wedge heel, sharply outlined by black piping that emphasizes the graphic silhouette. The bold colour blocking feels instantly recognisable to the era: intellectual, slightly industrial, yet unexpectedly feminine.

The silhouette is defined by a clean square toe and an elegant T-strap inspired centre line, balanced by an open sling-style mule construction that creates lightness against the substantial geometric heel. From the side profile, the shoe almost reads like a modernist furniture object — an approach Prada explored repeatedly during this period through unusual proportion and shape language.

Unlike conventional evening shoes of the late 1990s, this pair rejects ornament in favour of pure form and colour tension. The trapezoid wedge heel creates a sculptural presence while remaining surprisingly wearable, making the shoe feel equally relevant today.

Highly difficult to source, especially in this preserved condition and runway-associated colour combination, this pair stands as a true collector’s archive piece from Prada’s golden era of conceptual accessories.

Perfect styled with minimalist tailoring, sleek slips, or full archival Prada looks.
