    Rare AD2001-era Junya Watanabe piece featuring his signature avant-garde deconstruction and textile engineering approach. Constructed in 100% mid-weight cotton with multi-directional striped panels, the jacket builds volume through layered ruffles and controlled fraying, forming asymmetric contours across the torso.


    The edges retain intentional raw hems that highlight Watanabe’s early 2000s experimental tailoring language under COMME des GARÇONS, while the silhouette subtly references classic feminine jackets—subverted through broken symmetry and paneled architecture.


    Sleeves gather softly at the cuffs for slight volume, balancing the fragmented body pattern. The garment maintains excellent structure and remains remarkably preserved from its period—Condition A, with no stains, tears, or fabric thinning beyond intentional design execution.
