    A rare 2003 Christian Dior by John Galliano two-piece set, featuring an extraordinary Oriental-inspired goldfish and Ukiyo-e style floral print across a structured corset top and matching skirt. This striking print combines vivid jade green tones with delicate pink florals and stylized goldfish motifs, reflecting Galliano’s fascination with historical costume, Japanese imagery and theatrical Eastern references during his Dior era.

    The set consists of a fitted corset-style camisole top with delicate spaghetti straps and a matching high-waisted skirt. The coordinated silhouette allows the intricate all-over print to be appreciated as a complete look, while the fitted construction creates a distinctly early-2000s Galliano silhouette.

    The print is particularly special, featuring recurring ornamental flowers, flowing goldfish and graphic radial motifs against a translucent-looking green ground. The design appears throughout the garment rather than functioning simply as a decorative panel, giving the entire set a highly collectible, almost archival-textile quality.

    An exceptionally rare piece from the John Galliano era at Christian Dior, and an especially compelling find for collectors of Galliano’s early-2000s work. The set is accompanied by strong visual references to Galliano’s theatrical Orientalist runway language, making it much more than a conventional vintage printed set.
